Conditions for reservations up to 5 rooms per night

  • A credit card is needed for reservation purposes only.
  • If you cancel a non-refundable reservation, the amount will not be refunded. A refundable booking can be cancelled up to 24 hours upon arrival.
  • If you already paid your refundable reservation before cancelling, we will refund the paid amount in accordance with the cancellation fees.
  • If you wish to modify your reservation, this is possible up to 24 hours before arrival and only for flexible bookings, if you modify your reservation less than 24 hours before arrival the costs for the first night will be charged, an additional fee may apply if the reservation is moved to dates with higher room rates, in case of lower room rates, the difference will not be refunded.
  • In the event of incorrect rates or availability, obvious errors and mistakes (including misprints, mistypes and zero rates) are not binding; E.g. if a Suite costs an average rate of €1.000 throughout the year, a rate of €100 qualifies as an obvious mistake and the reservation won’t be honoured.
  • Pets are not allowed.
  • Check-in starts at 3:00 PM, if you arrive earlier, you can leave your luggage with us or book an early check in for a small fee (based on availability).
  • Our check-out time is 11:00 AM, you are kindly requested to vacate your room on time, If you wish to have a late check-out this can be requested for a small fee with the reception staff on site (based upon availability).
  • The city of Maastricht charges a Tourist Tax. The amount is €4,56 per person per night.
  • By staying at the hotel you invest in a sustainable future, We invest in various sustainable solutions, We ask you to make a small contribution, which is described on your confirmation as Green Fee, This amounts to €2,34 per person per night.
  • The Tourist Tax and Green Fee amounts together are €6,90 per person per night.
  • Reservations of 5 or more rooms per night are subject to the group cancellation fees and terms by Uniform Conditions for the Hotel and Catering Industry (UCHCI).

If the (local) government introduces mandatory Covid-19 measures, which make it impossible to travel, or which result in an event having to be rescheduled or cancelled due to governmental measures, then:

  • The hotel will mark the value of the reservation as a credit with a validity date of 12 months from the date the initial reservation would take place.
  • This is only possible for a flexible (refundable) reservation.
  • The credit can be used within 12 months when making a new reservation.
  • If the room rates then in effect are higher than those in effect at the time of the reservation, the excess amount must be paid.

Group conditions (reservations from 5 rooms per night)

Payment conditions

  • We ask a prepayment of 50% at the moment of making the booking.
  • The remaining 50% we would like to receive at least 3 weeks before arrival.

Cancellation conditions

If a reservation for only hotel accommodation is made, either with or without breakfast, for a group then the following applies to the Cancellation of this reservation.

  1. In case of Cancellation more than 3 months before the time when the first Catering Service should be provided under the terms of the Catering Agreement, hereinafter called “the Commencement Date”, the Customer is not obliged to make any payment to the Hotel Establishment.
  2. In case of Cancellation more than 2 months before the Commencement Date, the Customer is obliged to pay 15% of the Reservation Value to the Hotel Establishment.
  3. In case of Cancellation more than 1 month before the Commencement Date, the Customer is obliged to pay 35% of the Reservation Value to the Hotel Establishment.
  4. In case of Cancellation more than 14 days before the Commencement Date, the Customer is obliged to pay 60% of the Reservation Value to the Hotel Establishment.
  5. In case of Cancellation more than 7 days before the Commencement Date, the Customer is obliged to pay 85% of the Reservation Value to the Hotel Establishment.
  6. In case of Cancellation 7 days or less before the Commencement Date, the Customer is obliged to pay 100% of the Reservation Value to the Hotel Establishment.
This privacy policy contains information about how La Bergère Hospitality Group BV including Kaboom Hotel Maastricht, St. Martenslane Hotel, Qbic Hotel, Kaboom Hotel BV, Hotel Mabi BV, The Green Elephant Hostels BV and Hotel Mariënhage B.V. (hereinafter referred to as ‘LBG HOTELS’) handles the personal data you provide to LBG HOTELS. This privacy policy explains which party is the Controller (party responsible) within the meaning of the Dutch Personal Data Protection Act, which personal data is collected from you as a customer and/or organization, and for which purposes this personal data is collected. It also informs you of the period for which your personal data is retained, your rights in this regard, and how you can exercise these rights.

Why we collect this personal data: we temporarily store personal data when making bookings. This includes all the information on the form, first name, surname, payment method used, address, etc.
Why we retain the personal data for this period: we consider this term to be reasonable, because after the attempt to make a booking or in the event of a failed booking we have to recover details about the bookings.

For the purpose of the night register: Seven years/84 months.
Why we collect this personal data: for the purpose of our tourist tax return. In connection with a possible audit of the tourist tax by the tax authorities, we will keep the guest administration for seven years.
Why we retain the personal data for this period: this period is prescribed by law.

LBG HOTELS will not sell your personal data to third parties and will only provide them if this is necessary for the implementation of our agreement or in order to comply with a legal obligation. BEST RATE GUARANTEE

Best Rate Guarantee is our promise to guests who book directly on our branded websites, www.kaboomhotel.nl or www.lbghotels.com

Kaboom Hotel guarantees that our branded website will have the best room rate available on the market, matching room type, dates, terms and prices (Room Condition), at the moment of reservation and within 24 hours (Best Rate Guarantee).

If you find and advise Kaboom Hotel Maastricht of a currently available lower published rate, matching the same Room Conditions (Competing Rate), and within 24 hours after making a reservation on our Website, Kaboom Hotel Maastricht will honour the Competing Rate.

For a claim to be valid under this Best Rate Guarantee, it must satisfy all of the terms and conditions.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Room Conditions:
    1. Matching Room Type: The Best Rate Guarantee applies to a competing room type that is substantially similar to a room type that can be booked on the Kaboom Hotel Maastricht  Website. Competing room types have features that include, but are not limited to, similar views, amenities, bedding, and room size as determined by Kaboom Hotel Maastricht at its sole discretion (Competing Room).
    2. Matching dates: The lower rate must be found online for an equivalent room at the same check-in and check-out dates.
    3. Matching Terms: All price or rate terms, including, but not limited to pre-payment, deposit or other requirements must be equal to or more restrictive than the terms found on the Kaboom Hotel Maastricht website to be used for comparison. For example, when you book a room that may be cancelled without penalty on the Kaboom Hotel Maastricht website, you may not compare it to a room with a pre-paid or non-refundable price on a non-Kaboom Hotel Maastricht website (Competing Website). If, however, you book a pre-paid or non-refundable rate on our branded-website, you may compare it to a cancellable or refundable rate on a competing website. The Best Price Guarantee is not available for bookings on websites where the booking details are unknown until after purchase.
    4. Matching Prices: The room price must be quoted, booked, and paid for in the currency of the hotel. The Guarantee does not include extra fees such as an extra person charge. For multi-night stays, the average nightly room price found on a competing website will be compared to the average nightly room price for your multi-night reservation on the Kaboom Hotel Maastricht website.
  2. Unpublished Rates: The Best Rate Guarantee does not apply to unpublished rates. Unpublished rates are ratesnot available to the general public. Rates not available to the general public include, but are not limited to:
    1. Corporate discount rates
    2. Group rates
    3. Meeting rates
    4. Any rates requiring membership in a club, affinity program, or other organization where the rates are targeted specifically toward a specific group of individuals and not intended for the general public.
    5. Direct mail solicitations
    6. Electronic mail solicitations
    7. Any rates requiring a discount code or coupon
    8. Lower rates available through opaque sites where the exact hotel isn’t known until after booking are also excluded from the guarantee
  3. Claim Conditions: The claim should be sent by email to reservations@kaboomhotel.nl. The email should include the following information: name, hotel reservation number and website where the lower rate is available. Incomplete or inaccurate emails will not be taken into account.Because the claim must be processed before check-in, you must submit your claim at least 24 hours prior to check-in.

Frequently Asked Questions about the Payment Link

Why have I received an email to complete the payment through a payment link instead of charging the credit card I provided?

Since the introduction of the new European PSD2 directive, it is no longer possible for hotels to charge credit cards. When you make a reservation that requires an advance payment or guarantee, we will send an email with a payment link to complete the payment directly to us. Only when the payment is completed, the reservation is final.

How does the payment link work?

When you make a reservation that requires a payment before arrival, you will receive an email with a link to make the payment to us. Only when the payment via the payment link has been completed, the reservation is final. If there is no payment, we will send a reminder. After the expiry of the final payment date, we will automatically cancel the reservation.

What happens if I cancel my booking?

Our cancellation policy is unchanged: with a flexible reservation it is possible to cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before arrival and you will get the money back. With a non-refundable reservation it is not possible to get the money back from the reservation in case of a cancellation.

How do you store my payment details?

All payment data is securely stored in accordance with the legal requirements at Ingenico, the transaction processor that LBG Hotels uses.

What happens with the credit card details I provided while making my booking when I pay with the payment link?

The credit card details entered during the booking process will not be used.

Why do I have to pay within the specified period?

A reservation is only final when the amount has been paid. In the case of a non-refundable reservation, this means that payment must be made immediately. Flexible reservations can be paid up to 24 hours before arrival. This replaces the direct charging of the credit card.

Which payment methods can I use to complete the payment?

It is possible to pay with iDeal, ECMC, Visa or American Express.

Why does the amount via the payment link not match what I have booked?

If the amount differs, the tourist tax and green fee were not included in the reservation. This is then added to the amount in the payment link.

What is PayByLink?

We send the payment link with the help of PayByLink, the service with which we cooperate to make payments. PayByLink offers a secure payment solution as a replacement for charging the credit card.

Providing hospitality is what we do best, caring for our guests and staff has the highest priority. We follow the measures of the RIVM so we can offer you a pleasant and healthy stay. On this page you will find an overview of all the measures we can take in all our hotels.

General measures

  • Stay home if you have symptoms, such as a runny nose, sneezing, coughing, sore throat or fever.
  • Keep as much as possible 1.5 meters distance.
  • Wash your hands regularly.
  • Do not shake hands.
  • Use paper tissues and throw them away immediately after use.
  • Cough and sneeze into the inside of your elbow.
  • Pay preferably with pin, or contactless.

In addition, we apply these measures:

  • Starting point are the measures and guidelines of the RIVM; we adhere to these.
  • We ensure regular disinfection of exposed surfaces such as door handles, card terminals and elevator buttons with antibacterial liquids.
  • In public areas, we offer disinfectants to our guests.
  • We comply with procedures for dealing with colleagues who are ill.
  • Fitness and wellness areas (if present in the hotel) are open within the measures of the RIVM.
  • We ask all guests to follow any additional instructions provided by the hotel.
